A 1st-of-month start pays that month. A mid-month start pays the remaining days plus the next full month.
Renew so your next membership starts the day the last one ends, and your founding rate carries on until then. Nothing is ever charged automatically.
A membership cannot be cancelled or refunded, including for missed sessions or unused time. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Talk to us and we will agree the pause dates and your revised expiry. A freeze does not break your founding rate.
You keep the full duration you paid for, on the revised dates. We will tell you the new dates.
You are buying prepaid adult BJJ training for the dates and amount shown in your order. It includes the current adult timetable as it stands, including BJJ classes and open mats and MMA open mat, subject to booking, capacity and age restrictions. Disciplines added later, such as judo, may be offered as separately charged extras. The standard price is RWF70,000 per month. No automatic renewal applies.
Orders placed and paid by 31 October 2026, 23:59 Kigali time, are charged a founding rate: RWF50,000 per month for Fitnesspoint members and RWF60,000 per month for everyone else. Payment is on time when the MoMo payment is sent by that deadline; staff may verify receipt afterwards. A transaction reference is optional. An order placed before the deadline but not paid by it cannot be paid at the founding rate and must be cancelled and replaced at the price then in force.
Founding-rate orders whose MoMo payment is sent and payment reported by 10 October 2026, 23:59 Kigali time, receive 14 extra days of BJJ membership free of charge, added to the end of the membership. If the payment is reported later, the order keeps its founding rate and price, but the extra days are removed. For payments confirmed directly by staff without a member notification, the verified receipt time determines eligibility. A transaction reference is optional. The extra days have no cash value. To keep your founding rate, your renewal must start the day the extended membership ends.
The first 10 members whose founding-rate order is confirmed as paid receive one free private 1-to-1 session with head coach Lorenzo, one per member. Places go in the order payments are reported, or for a payment confirmed directly by staff, the time the payment was received. The offer ends when all places are taken. The club will contact you to agree a time. The session has no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred.
Your founding rate continues for every renewal that starts on the day your previous paid membership ends, up to and including 31 December 2027. Membership time after 31 December 2027 is charged at the price then in force. If a renewal starts later than the day your previous membership ends, the founding rate ends and the standard price applies from then on. A freeze agreed with the club does not end your founding rate: your membership end date moves later by the length of the freeze. The club may change the standard price in future with notice.
To use the Fitnesspoint founding rate, upload your Fitnesspoint receipt or a screenshot of its MoMo payment, enter the date you paid for it, and confirm it is your own membership bought before 20 September 2026. The rate applies automatically from your attachment and declaration. Fitnesspoint proof is not proof of payment to Kigali BJJ.
Memberships start from 1 November 2026. A first-of-month start pays for that calendar month. A mid-month start pays for the remaining calendar days plus the next full month, using actual days rounded to the nearest RWF. Founding members starting 1 November 2026 may instead prepay six months of BJJ for the price of five: RWF250,000 at the Fitnesspoint founding rate or RWF300,000 at the new-member founding rate, covering 1 November 2026 to 30 April 2027, paid by 31 October 2026; their founding rate then continues monthly. Pay the BJJ total using the displayed MoMo details and report your payment. A transaction reference is optional. Staff verify receipt of payment before activating coverage.
Gym access costs RWF40,000 per month and is paid separately and directly to the CrossFit gym when the space opens. Gym hours are to be announced. Pool, sauna and cold plunge are planned, with availability, pricing and inclusion unconfirmed.
Payment does not reserve a class. Complete your training profile and required waiver before booking. Booking access begins after payment verification and applies to classes within your recorded coverage dates, subject to booking windows and capacity. Separately charged events and competitions are excluded.
Memberships purchased at the current prices cannot be cancelled or refunded, in full or in part, for a change of mind, missed sessions or unused membership time. Cancelling an unpaid order in the app does not cancel a purchased membership or initiate a refund. Cancellation and refund terms for future pricing have not been agreed. This policy does not exclude or restrict any refund or other rights required by applicable law. Contact the club to resolve payment errors or any refund required by law; these are handled directly, not automatically in the app.
If the Mamba opening is delayed, affected memberships will be deferred to the revised opening date while preserving the full purchased duration. We will communicate the updated dates. This arrangement does not exclude any rights required by applicable law. Contact the club through the website or app for help with your purchase.
Membership freezes of up to three months in total in any rolling 12-month period, across all membership purchases and renewals, are available by arrangement with the club. Contact us to agree the pause dates. Once staff record the freeze, classes during the pause cannot be booked and your membership end date moves later by the same number of days.
We have had a great run at our current location, with jiu-jitsu included alongside access to gym equipment. We know moving is a big change. Until now, BJJ came bundled with your gym membership. From November, it is a membership of its own.
Using the gym too? Gym access at Mamba is separate, at RWF 40,000/month, paid directly to the CrossFit gym. If you only train jiu-jitsu, you only pay for jiu-jitsu.
Our move to Mamba will help cover the club’s running costs, pay our coaches properly, and give us room to improve the academy.
